Profile

Tom Parry is a passionate musician who writes, performs and produces his own music. Born in Wales, he is a fluent Welsh-speaker who often incorporates elements of Welsh culture and language into his music, giving his songs a very unique sound. 

Starting when he was 13 years old, he has written over a hundred songs and has started to release them on Soundcloud, YouTube, as well as Spotify. He has gained his on-stage confidence from performing at many Welsh Eisteddfodau from a young age and continues to play live shows at several Open Mics, Charity Gigs and Concerts around Wales and West England, having opened for several of Wales' most well known bands on the Welsh-speaking scene, including Candelas and Mellt. Despite the difficulties the pandemic has caused the music industry, he has most recently taken part in the Urdd and TG Lurgen's rendition of the song Gwenwyn by Alffa - the first Welsh song to reach over one million hits on Spotify - where he was the co-lead singer, in an effort to promote both the Welsh and Irish Gaelic languages.
